Detailed information

This blockchain Dapp shows the contribution it can add to the medical field, by tracking medicine from the moment it is manufactured till it reaches the patient. It will allow all the stakeholders to track and manage ownership of resources through a web portal. Once a ledger for a drug is created, it will mark the point of origin (i.e. a laboratory). The ledger will then continue to record data every step of the way, including who handled it and where it has been, until it reaches the consumer. Smart contracts are used to send drugs from one point to another ensuring secure and legal deal and avoiding fraud. Patients can ensure if the medicine they are buying is safe or not. By entering the unique product ID or QR code, they can know its source and quality standards. The hash ID linked to the unique product ID/QR code would fetch information from the blockchain for patients' access. Similarly, even pharmacists and distributors can verify the origin of medicines after receiving.
