These are pages from the history of eternal Egypt, which the author spreads in the hands of the reader, so that he may find pleasure in reading them, and see between their lines the true evidence that the civilization of the Pharaohs dealt with various aspects of life... artistic, scientific, social, economic, national, and emotional. The pages of the book included various facts related to ancient Egyptian research and archaeological discoveries. We do not do justice to the ancient Egyptians if we measure their civilization solely by the antiquities they left behind or by their military conquests. The Assyrians, Babylonians, and Persians had their share of these and those. Civilization could not be measured by such standards, because its true significance only appears in scientific and moral culture with gradual progression in them. This aspect flourished in the city of the Pharaohs. The reader will realize this bright fact when he reads these pages.
