Podrobné informácie

After the death of Bogdan Khmelnitsky, the new hetman of Ukraine was Secretary General Ivan Vygovsky, who broke the alliance with Moscow against Poland and concluded a new one - with Poland against Moscow. The Russian army of Prince Pozharsky went to the Konotop fortress. There was a battle ahead that would decide the fate of Ukraine. In the center of the story is the adventures of the foreman of the sovereign of the regiment Fyodor Myatelev and his friends: the Russian runaway slave Minky Ivanov, the Zaporozhye Cossack Ivan Rog, the Polish gentry Marta. The paths of fate lead the heroes to the capital of the Crimean Khanate Bakhchisarai, to the Turkish cities of Trebizond and Istanbul, and then to the Spanish city of Palos, from where they head to the New World.Together with the detachment of Captain Sebastiani, they went on a campaign in the city of gold - the capital of Great Sipa. Half of the squad died en route from fever, difficulties, poisonous reptiles, and Native American arrows. Only a few have reached the land of gold. In the mysterious city, Ivan Horn died, saving the life of Fedor, and Sebastiani laid his head down. Fedor married the daughter of the leader of the tribe and was able to save his life. For several years he lived among the Indians and could only escape thanks to the outbreak of war with a neighboring tribe. In 1672, Fyodor Myatelev returned to Europe, which he left in 1659, in the year of the battle of Konotop. The cardinal of the Jesuit order helps Fedor to receive high distinctions at the Spanish royal court. Fate again throws him to Ukraine, where another war broke out ...The picture was posted with the permission of Rustem Vaapov, art editor of the newspaper "Voice of Crimea".
