Water is an important constituent of ecosystem and play major role to sustain the life for health and well being in ecosystem, water quality its safety and consumer concern are highly important and should be addressed to cure from environmental health risks because of only about 0.08% of the worlds freshwater are easily accessible and exploitable by humans and obviously it may cause of death or sickness due to addition of pollutants. The sources of water to lake are perennial for River Indus and non perennial for kirthar mountains. The effluents and agricultural runoff from MNVD (Main Nara Valley Drain) waste involvement has changed Manchar Lake water quality. In our study focused the impacts of effluents on the Indus Riverine system that stretched from Manchar Lake to Jamshoro City along with the Indus Catchment through Indus Highway covering 160 square kilometers along right bank on the River Indus. Total 68 Samples in both Phases (August 2013 - November 2013) with gap of three months were collected from selected villages, populated areas and cities along with Indus River.
