Detailed information

A study by researchers at the University of Toronto found that 25% of cars and trucks are causing about 90% of pollution from the vehicle fleet. In urban areas, harmful automotive emissions are responsible for anywhere between 50 and 90 percent of air pollution. All told, that's quite a lot of air pollution coming from our vehicles. Brown's gas (HHO) has recently been introduced to the auto industry as a new source of energy. The proposed HHO generating device is compact and can be installed in the engine compartment. This auxiliary device was designed, constructed, integrated and tested on a gasoline engine. The testing was done on water cooled diesel engine (660CC) of 4.76BHP @1500 rpm. Current supply should be adequate to generate a required quantity of HHO. When the Hydroxy gas is enriched with air in a diesel engine, the thermal efficiency for compression ratio 18 increases by 13.28% comparing to diesel combustion and the specific fuel consumption is reduced by 8.7% at full load condition.
