Over the years, Community Forestry (CF) has been considered as one of the most successful program for improving the greenery of degraded sites, biodiversity conservation and improvement of environment forming local level institutions. The role of research is to find the extent of CF contribution on improving biodiversity and livelihood of community forest user group members.The study was carried out in Kankali Community Forest of Chainpur Village Development Committee, ward number 1-9, Chitwan district,Nepal. Both primary and secondary information were collected through sample plot assessment and participatory rural appraisal.
