Detailed information

In this successor, we are introduced to uncertainty but not the Heisenberg version, fractal boundaries and singularities. It tells of the quint and the octave occurring in music, light and in a short story of the Nobel Prize winner in literature; Alice Munroe. With a popular science format, the structure of fractals in applications is explained and elaborated, in conjunction with (motions on) noncircular orbits. Several types are described, e.g. when Sun creates images of itself at the horizon, the logistic map, Julia sets and Koch-curves. The boundaries of a noncircular orbit is analysed when this is assumed being fractal. The kinematics and interaction in such a zone is discussed in terms of a black hole. In order to harmonize with modern literature, a Feel-good-fractal is included on the last page.
