The History

"The History" by Herodotus made the name of this great Greek immortal, and it is the first monument of the European historical narration, the source of information about the geography, culture, war and politics of the ancient world. The main plot of the book - is the history of the Greco-Persian Wars, the story of the bloody battles between the two civilizations, the victory in which guaranteed for Hellas the blossoming for many years and made it the preceptress for the whole world.
