Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The main object of this volume is to present information likely to be of use in the design and construction of ordinary steel-framed buildings. It is the intention to deal with some of the more general problems of structural steelwork, occurring in engineering structures, in a second volume.
