The paper is submitted in five separate chapters. Chapter I is consisting of theoretical foundation and historical perspective of training and resistance training. The myth and reality of resistance training among children have been discussed with enough literature support. Chapter II is comprised of related literature in retrospect. Around 70 research work of leading researchers have been reviewed. Chapter III, the methodology, covered with the selection of subjects, designed of the training programme, tests & measurement technique have been discussed. Result and analysis of the findings have been made in chapter IV. Age and sex wise group discussions was the main features and later inter group analysis have been made to arrive definite conclusions on the effect of strength and strength endurance training on young boys & girls.Summary of the whole research report are presented in chapter V. Another important features of chapter V is specific conclusions that are made on the basis of findings. At the end specific recommendation for the further study have been made. At the end of chapter V an exhaustive list of references have been incorporated under bibliography.
