Fruit characterization of widely known date palm cultivars in Pakistan

Date palm is not only important for its fruit, but it also provides raw material to local cottage industries and in the manufacturing of date products. It is used for Jams, syrups, industrial alcohol, organic acid, and animal food, pharmaceuticals and other date by-products.
