August 27, 2020 will mark the 250th anniversary of Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel's birthday. His encyclopedic system is and remains of paramount philosophical importance. The main theme of the volume is the critical reception of Hegel's philosophy of the subjective spirit in Wolfhart Pannenberg's opus magnum on "Anthropology in theological perspective", which was published in 1983. Gunther Wenz gives an insight into his work as head of the Wolfhart Pannenberg research center in Munich.
