Genetic Architecture and Evolution of Blast Resistance Trait in Rice

Exploring the genetic architecture of rice blast resistance genes through the combination of MAS technology using (SSRs), (SNPs) and (STSs) markers, to assess the genetic diversity and to articulate blast resistance trait through the appropriate R genes in rice (Oryza sativa L.) varieties that lead effectively to achieve broad-spectrum and enhanced resistance for combating blast disease, also clarifying the direction of evolution for blast resistance trait based on MAS markers in rice populations.
