Internet of Things (IoT) conceptualizes the idea of remotely connecting and monitoring real world objects through the Internet. The idea of this book is to build an Arduino based robot that can perform various operations. It aims to provide a flexible and reliable android application-controlled robot that can avoid obstacles, can follow a line that has been drawn and avoid the table edges. It can live stream a video through a mobile phone using an application and IP address. It can also be controlled using an IR remote as well as through voice controls.MIT App Inventor is used to develop an android application for controlling. The robot is connected to the application via Bluetooth for which a Bluetooth module has been used. It uses an Ultrasonic sensor which is mounted on a servo motor which can rotate 0 to 180 degrees to avoid the obstacles and move forward. The H-bridge motor driver allows the DC gear motors to drive the robot. A battery holder and a switch are used to on and off the robot.
