In order to educate and provide the necessary care for people with high-risk behaviors, including drug users and those who have sex outside of the family, there is a need to estimate their population. The purpose of this study is to estimate the population of these hidden groups, such as users of various types of drugs, including traditional and industrial drugs, stimulants and sleeping pills, alcoholic drinks users, prostitutes, people who had sex outside the family framework, and those who have sex with their same sex. Have a relationship and there are also people who traveled abroad for sex in the city of Isfahan using the network expansion method.This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in the summer of 2018 on 1000 people from the general population who had at least 5 years of residence in Isfahan City and was selected by a multi-stage sampling method based on 14 municipal districts of Isfahan City. Findings:The prevalence of opium use was 2983, hashish 2342, heroin 613, stimulants 766, ecstasy 86, hallucinogens 268, tramadol 1185, zolpidem 213, tobacco 5869, and injecting drugs was 135% per thousand people (adults).
