Detailed information

(Qambiz) is the king of the Persians, and Ibn Qourash al -Akbar, known as the name Qambiz. He took the ruling after his father died during one of the campaigns. He tried to prove his authority and claim to be a pharaoh that believes in Amun, but the priests of Amon predicted his loss, which sparked his anger. He sent a campaign, and its leader was to the Siwa Oasis to demolish the Temple of Amon. But the storms of the desert blew and buried it with sand, and no one survived. Herodotus estimates the number of army soldiers with two hundred thousand soldiers. In this fictional play, criticism of Al -Akkad Ahmed Shawky from three aspects; First: Poetry is a human value before it is a tongue, secondly: that the poem must be an integrated living structure, not just separate pieces, and thirdly: that poetry is an automatic and honest expression that is not made or made, and as it is said, "printed, not made". Al -Akkad saw that Shawky''s share is small when evaluating from these aspects. This play embodies Shawky''s poetic vision and his serious challenge in reviving historical characters with his distinguished artistic style, as it is a literary experience that arouses controversy and appreciates the lovers of literature and critics alike.
