An Empirical Analysis of the Internationalization, and the Effect on the Financial Success of Global Systemically Important Banks«: This book examines in particular the question how the internationalization of large banks has developed (also in a regional comparison) and which effects are associated with financial success. In addition to analyzing theoretical approaches, previous research and development trends of international banks, the empirical part analyses 35 banks from Europe, North America and Asia (based on the G-SIBs) for the period 2007 to 2019.
