The Top Notch Pop Songbook, by Joan Saslow and Allen Ascher, contains forty original professionally written pop songs in a variety of styles -- classic pop, rap, ballad, blues, Latin -- composed and scored to reinforce the vocabulary, social language, grammar, and pronunciation every language learner needs.

Each song has a reproducible language activity worksheet for both receptive and productive language practice. Answer keys are included. Complete lyrics to each song allow learners to read and listen -- or listen and sing along.
