Vibrio Parahemolyticus (VP) is widely existed in the seawater and seafood. People eating food contaminated with VP often appears abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, fever, dizziness, headache and other symptoms. In recent years, VP had become China and Guangdong province's largest food-borne diseases pathogenic bacteria. Zhapo is a typical coastal resort in Guangdong province, which is rich in seafood, and VP food poisoning incidents occurred frequently. VP food poisoning had occurred each year since 2008, during which had 9 incidents occurred between 2010 and 2011. To find out the main source of VP infection, spreading way and the risk factors, an epidemiology investigation was finished in Jun, 2012.
