Microalbuminuria and The Risk Factors in Diabetics of Northern Nigeria

The Introduction and the literature review was constructed to give a detailed information on similar researches and their findings in relation to the clinical condition specifically of renal complication among Diabetes Mellitus globally. Microalbuminuria was assessed and its prevalence compared with similar researches elsewhere as a diagnostic tool among diabetic patients with nephropathy within and outside Nigeria. It's discrepancies with local findings was also addressed. Modifiable and non modifiable risk factors commonly seen among Northern Nigerian Diabetic patients were fully identified. Recommendations were fished out according to the social, economical, infrastructural,technological and professional man power based on African common status.
