Bringing Carnivals to my English classes

Barranquilla is the funniest city in Colombia. Barranquilleros are the happiest, the most talk-active and funny people in this South-american country. Every year, we celebrate the Carnival in Barranquilla, a magestic celebration where color, music, parades, dancers, brightness and, here, the exageration is considered normal. In "La Arenosa" as is widely known the city of Barranquilla, tourists and locals enjoy the amusement of african dances, brazilian samba, and even some cultural samples from Europe. We hope you enjoy this book, where we have joined both, language and culture to improve the acquisition of the skills in English as a Second Language (ESL).
