The more than fifty sermons in this collection were held between 1999 and 2010 in the sermon rooms of the Wachtberg Evangelical Church Parish. The ordained predictor of the Protestant Church in the Rhineland is a natural scientist with experience in business life and brings these perspectives to the interpretation of biblical passages. The sermons are reproduced in the order of the biblical books. An index at the end of the book makes it easier to find the biblical passages. A further index establishes the respective reference to the Sundays in the church year.
