The composite honeycomb core (HCC) materials are a class of materials whose structural characteristics can be tailored effectively with the addition of carbon nanotubes (CNT). The hybrid HCC sandwich composite structures can apply distributed shear force to increase in stiffness and damping properties of the composite structure and thus provide improved attenuation of vibration passively under various dynamic environments. The objective of this monograph is to present numerical and experimental investigations on the influence of longitudinal ribbons or strips reinforcement in conventional honeycomb structure on the various dynamic properties of a hybrid honeycomb sandwich plate with and without reinforcement of CNT. The material and mechanical characterization of composites without and with reinforcement of CNT. This investigation provides the guidelines to the designers and structural engineers to select optimal percentage of CNT in the rotating structures. Further, the applicability of ribbon reinforced hybrid honeycomb composite to critical parts of a huge structure to achieve a more efficient and compact control mechanism of vibration with adaptable damping has been evidenced.
