Poverty, Economic Reform and Income Distribution in Latin America

Income distribution in Latin America and the implications for the alleviation of poverty are the focus of this study. The authors argue that economic reforms have contributed to the increase in inequality, and that the economic crises of the 1980s - were not the sole factor in this trend.
