Structure:

• Arbeitsbuch Beste Freunde A1/2 – workbook (2nd half of A1) - (Workbook with code for interactive version - CD-Rom publisher replaced with online code for downloading CD content from the Internet)
• It is an excellent tool for 2nd grade elementary school students to practice German vocabulary and grammatical structures. The workbook is closely connected to the textbook Beste Freunde A1/2 Kursbuch (SK). In the workbook, you will also find grammar exercises, thanks to which students can derive grammar rules themselves. It also contains a number of exercises focusing on systematic practice of written speech. The exercises offer extensive pronunciation training and communication tools with contrasting tips for students.
• The workbook also includes an illustrated dictionary, which color-codes nouns according to gender, and also offers example sentences. It is divided in the same way as a textbook - into modules, at the end of which there are tasks for practicing skills and self-evaluation, as well as worksheets for tasks for working in pairs. The CD-ROM is no longer included, it has been replaced by an online code, i.e. activities for training language skills with a focus on listening, as well as interactive exercises on grammar, vocabulary and means of communication are available for download.
• The protagonists of the course (Simon, Anna, Nico and Laura) accompany the students through the individual topics of the Beste Freunde course - best friends who experience stories of everyday life, from sports, food, free time, and travel. Thanks to emotionally close situations, they will help students learn vocabulary and grammatical structures quickly and easily. Anna has a special role in the course. As a child of a mixed Slovak-German family, she helps overcome language barriers and explains parts of the textbook that may be difficult to understand.
